Allows you charge your Surface devices via 45W 15V3A USB-C Power Delivery (PD) wall charger or power bank, you only need to bring a USBC charger to charge many devices including Surface on the go. It is very lightweight and portable. It can also be used as a spare charger. Requirement: This cable requires an USB-C charger or charging bank that support 45W 15V3A output. Female USBC charging cable also need the USBC cable can carry 3A current. Doublecheck your USBC charger to ensure that it lists "15V/3A" in the specifications. Some PD chargers didn't support the cable. It's recommended that use the cable together with our GaN 3-Port USBC charger, avoid incompatibility problems. Please find the link in the page details. Ideal for traveling

Ideal for charging in an emergency. It plugs into a USB-C port and adapts to the Surface Pro charger. I have 3 Surface Pro 3s that I can't find chargers for and this little device gave them LIFE! It doesn't have an outside light, so you'll have to open it quickly to make sure it's charging. The charging speed depends on the type of plug and cable used. It's durable and will hold up to everyday use for the 3 weeks I've been using. It was a lot cheaper than buying the original Surface Pro…

Bad reviews have no place

This product has received some bad reviews. I believe the problem users are having is that the wall chargers people are trying to use to power this cable do not have the correct output voltage required for this cable to interface with a Surface to function as a laptop. The Surface requires a 15 volt input on the charging side. You cannot use regular wall chargers that come with phones, tablets, etc. as the maximum output voltage is 5 volts. As advertised! - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

Worked great. I use this Aukey charger (link below) and it charges my Surface Pro 4 just fine. It's a bit stiffer than the OEM cable, but that might be because it's shorter. No problems so far and I've had it for a month or so.
