We liked all the options here and just installed them in our small backyard. We had to clear the area around the flowers, grass and weeds but that was ok. However, for those who may have a backyard or just a large indoor space for these items, you really need an open space. The posts have stakes to keep them stable in the ground, and the tunnel and other posts also need ground cover. I didn't think of that when I bought the kit though, so I wanted to make sure it was clear somewhere.

I bought this set to try agility with my 2 year old dog who seems to get bored at times. While I was setting up the barrier, he managed to grab one of the barrier's black joints and chew it to the point where it was useless. Whenever I asked for a joint replacement, I received prompt responses to my emails. I'm also impressed with the overall quality of the set. My dog quickly clicked the tunnel and I can't wait to try the next barrier. This kit helped me learn how to use the clicker!

A good starter kit on a budget if you want to do backyard agility. This isn't a heavy quality set, but good enough for the average dog owner. I have a young sheltie who seems interested in agility so I bought this set for the yard and we have played well with it. I thought it was great value for money. Others have mentioned just buying PVC pipe and making their own, but that's well thought out. It came with screwed on stakes to hammer into the ground which are amazingly strong and very easy to set up. The jump came with simple locking clips to hold it together and raise or lower the height of the jump. The tunnel is well made.
