Just ordered two of these to replace a pair I bought almost 4 years ago that just broke. The value of the time it takes is great, at least in my experience.

I got what I paid for. I wasn't expecting much but I couldn't even get them to cut the plastic on the salad bag. They only cut close to the top. I donated them.

These kitchen scissors from Cheft Craft are good value for money. They're cheap, but the blades are *very* sharp. By "cheap" I mean they're mostly plastic, they can't be taken apart and when they arrived there was a bit of extra plastic that one of the blades was bumping into. It was easy enough to remove. They worked great as all-purpose kitchen scissors.

I use them on my boat for cutting mono and braids up to 200 pounds. It works much better than most pliers I've tried with cutting faces, and the blade lasts a month or two of constant use in the wild. For the price I can afford to buy two and keep them in holders. When they eventually stop clipping every 3-6 months I just put in a new pair.

This is a good addition to my kitchen, very useful for opening grocery bags and chopping vegetables. The handle is comfortable to hold (ergonomic) and I can easily cut with one hand. This is not the highest quality stainless steel; However, I just hope it doesn't rust over time. But it looks well made and is still used for cutting herbs and vegetables. In addition, it fits perfectly in the volume of my knife that I bought 10 years ago.

The old scissors were worn out so I looked elsewhere for similar ones. I brought two different brands to Walmart and both fell apart and rusted after a few months. I went to Revane to get rid of my scissors and found these wonderful scissors. Stainless steel and black, it goes with almost every color scheme of the knife set! Rust and wear are not noticeable after several months of operation.
