I make homemade ginger beer all the time and have had trouble finding a juicer that works well and is effortless to use. This amazing product makes squeezing lemons easy! It's very firm and fits large lemon halves (thanks!) and now I get lots of juice instead of the squirts I would get from other products. The ability to hold large lemons, produce lots of juice, and strain the seeds makes this a must-buy for serious juicers! I highly recommend it.

I bought this as a gift because I couldn't find the brand I own (and have bought for others in the past). However, it's such a piece of junk that I can't give it to anyone. Nice design but some notes: 1. Another reviewer mentioned that there is a gap in one of the levers where it meets a bowl that catches dirty water when you put it in the dishwasher. I dismissed this thinking user error, but the reviewer is correct. Expect to have to drain the dirty soapy water from one of the levers while cleaning it.2. Beautiful kitchen utensils at first sight. However, the metal feels a bit like a pan. And squeezing brings the handles together before the juice is really fully out of the press, and leverage is limited in my hand at the very end when the squeezing motion is most important. But most importantly, I just noticed that the metal around the pressing side (as opposed to the straining side) has cracked and will likely break in half in the near future, rendering it unusable.
