Easier to use than other methods

Using a stone or electric sharpener takes time. It's quick to take out and run the knife through a dozen times. I will continue to use other tools every few months but I am happy with the sharpness of the knives between these other uses.

LIKE NEW KNIVES

AMAZING! I have a very good set of knives and I sometimes use steel knives, but I didn't realize how dull they really are. I tried this sharpener from Chef's Choice and it was amazing. Both straight and serrated blades are like new. Terribly sharp. Excellent guide. Very easy to use. It is high time for me to do this. Very quick service. zero for shipping.

Pros
  • An absolute legend

It really works in cutlery and knife accessories

My knives have been dull for years. A friend abandoned his Chef's Choice sharpener because he was tired of hearing me complain about dull knives. Another friend sharpened my knives and he said. Wow this stuff really works, I'm usually skeptical. When I finally used it, I was amazed. The blades of my knives sharpened quickly. The tool was easy to use. Cutting and slicing is easy again. I bought a tool and now I often sharpen knives.

doing a good job Best in Kitchen and Dining

Received in the mail and immediately started sharpening my kitchen knives. I've marked the blades with black marker to keep track of how things are going. I had a set of vintage Chicago cutlery knives. Spent some time in the rough cut until the marker marks disappeared indicating the bevel had been set. It took a while for some knives. After the bevel was set, each knife was placed in a thin groove. Nice results. The knives were sharper than ever.

Scratches knives

This sharpener will scratch knife blades just above the sharp edge. Completely spoils the look of some good knives. I do not recommend this product due to the damaging effect. If you don't care what your knives look like, they probably sharpen well. It's in my garage now to sharpen lawn tools and scrap/utility knives. I actually just wanted to freshen up the edges and not sharpen them any more - now I always have to look at the scratches on a few good/expensive kitchen knives.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I'm worried

who i love After that they got pretty boring.

The only knife sharpener we had was from Chicago Cutlery in a box of knives. It works, but only "OK". My mother-in-law gave us some knives from Germany, Wüsthof Dreizack, which I love very much. They started to get pretty dull after prolonged use; ordered Chef's Choice 464 Pronto Diamond Hone Sharpener which works like a dream. It's easy to use, only takes a few seconds, so you can start cooking quickly. It's affordable and I highly recommend it.

  • Hands free

Knives are sharp again!

We've never sharpened knives. We have a set of Henkel knives that have become pretty much useless and I was wanting to take them somewhere to have them sharpened until I saw the cost, about $1.50 an inch. So we did a little research, read a few reviews and settled on this one. Have you read the instructions, have we done our best to follow them, and what do you know? They've actually gotten hot again! Probably not as sharp as if it had been done by a pro, but sharp enough to cut my wife's…

The price for every cent is suitable for kitchen and dining room

I received this sharpener today. I used it immediately. This product looks exactly like the picture on the seller's page and does exactly what it says on the tin. The good reviews made me buy this product. You 4 and 5 star reviewers, I totally agree with you. This is a very good sharpener. I mean any knife sharpener. I got all my kitchen knives razor sharp very quickly and safely. After that I trusted this product to sharpen one of my vintage XX pocket knives. I only used slot #2 in this bag…

  • Nice packaging
