🍳 Cut and Slice Eggs with Precision: ChefsGrade Diecast Aluminium Egg Slicer in Light Grey Review

I was hooked after reading other reviews. When I received mine the wires were tight and straight. Eggs well cut. With large strawberries I had to press a little harder. After you cut 5 strawberries, the three wires are no longer stretched. They make it a bit difficult to open. I should probably return it.

Only received a few days ago so haven't had time to try everything yet, but the weight and strength of this cookware compares to any reasonable item. With eggs, of course, it's easy, but with mushrooms he coped without any problems. I spent more than usual on the egg slicer. Maybe that's why I always bought cheap egg slicers?

I bought this product hoping for quality and was disappointed. This is very overpriced and doesn't seem to be done carefully. The wires don't fit properly in the slots and the aluminum frame looks warped. The product is still functional, but it is definitely low quality and definitely not worth $16. I would estimate this egg slicer at around $2.

This thing cuts hard boiled eggs terribly. The wire is either blunt or too thick for the job. The egg is flattened, not sliced. When he flattens the egg, he damages the yolk inside before eventually cutting through the white. I make a lot of hard boiled eggs and this has never happened, even with the cheap hard boiled eggs I've used for the last 6 or 7 years. Eventually a cable broke and I had to replace it. Can I still return these?

This is the worst egg slicer I have ever used. The quality sucks. The wires are misaligned and the base has jagged, rough edges where cutting wires get stuck. And if you're not careful, you'll cut your hand on those jagged edges. Finally, after cutting 4 eggs, two wires broke. What a waste and waste of money. The picture looks nice and solid, and something that will last, but unfortunately not. Threw it away after first use.

Isn't it great when a product meets or exceeds your expectations? Sometimes the simplest kitchen utensil becomes one of the most important items in a chef's arsenal, and that's exactly what an egg slicer is. If you need it, you must have it. After trying branded devices at local stores, we were very happy to find this slicer. Instead of lasting a few months, we expect these to last years.
