First french press best for kitchen and dining room

This is the first french press I have used to make good coffee. Also, my first cup had a very small defect and they sent me a free one.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good item! on coffee makers

It was exactly what I needed and as advertised. Looks great on the counter and the instructions that come with it are very helpful. I love the built in egg timer as I don't have to wake anyone up with the oven timer when I'm making coffee in the morning!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some minor things

Very pretty. and DOES NOT WORK

Hands down the worst double wall stainless steel case I've ever used. It's definitely *not* "thermos". Filled with very hot water, the container will be too warm (heat loss) and the coffee will also cool down quickly. NOT usable for intended purpose - returned for a refund.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Better than my last.

I had the glass but I broke the glass a third time and decided to upgrade to this beautiful mid-century modern upholstered model and I am so happy with it my purchase. I use it every day and my coffee stays tasty and hot. Much hotter and longer than glass. Very happy. I would recommend. I wanted a walnut Clara but it only weighs 24 ounces. Good thing it was 34.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Excellent French press!

What an ingenious coffee maker! I've developed a severe caffeine intolerance, but I love coffee. I found Swiss Water Decaffeinated after even regular decaffeinated coffee had kept me up at night. But back at the office, where we don't have decaffeinated coffee, I figured the best way to deal with it would be to make my own. Enter this beautiful French press! It makes perfect coffee and I love the little built in timer! I thought it was a little useless when I bought it, but it's my favorite…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • There are nuances

Get another one

I promise you're not going to use an hourglass timer in a pen, so if you are I'd cross it out (that's exactly the mistake I made). The handle also makes it very inconvenient to store in a closet. Most annoying is that the plunger rod screws into the filter plate and plunger handle in the same direction. If you want to unscrew the rod from the base for cleaning between filters, it also starts to unscrew from the top of the wooden flask. You need to hold on to the bar so it doesn't both come…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick guide
