Chemical Guys BUFX_107_HEX Self Centered Perfection Review

Ordered 2 different pads and none fit 7" buffer. Both said they were made for a 7 inch base plate and neither would fit. Both appear to be made for a 6" baseplate.

They fly off the baseplate every time I hit a surface change. As long as it's flat it's fine, but move it over the ridge and it flies.

At the moment, hex pads make polishing black cars easier and give better results. These pads are durable, affordable and great value for money. I would recommend to anyone who wants to take care of their car.

Just perfect for maximizing the car the pads are really soft - PLEASE NOTE - although they are 7.5" they are for a 5" velcro backing and only 5 inches designed substrate or maybe less.

This polishing pad is great, the material is great and the self centering feature is a very good idea. I've had great results with this pad and it seems to be very, very durable compared to other brands I own. .

The backing of the velcro lining didn't stick well enough to stay on the lining. It worked for a while, but when I was at any angle the pad started to slip off. When it worked, it delivered a good finish, but the fact that it didn't stay was a big problem.

Excellent for applying liquid wax to a car with high speed buffers. Heck, you can even use it to apply Carnaba paste wax. I used the same pad for 7 waxes with no damage as other reviews have stated. So I can attest to durability using a Makita buffer with a 1000rpm cable and Mequiars velcro mid-goods.
