GREAT! in exterior care

It really works! I heard about it on one of my Dodge Challenger Facebook groups so I wanted to give it a try. Where I live I have very hard water and no matter how fast I wash/dry I always have a quarter panel or part of something water stained. This saved me from water stains! It dries "fun" (you can see the drying water run off) but they rub off with my microfiber towels again to a nice shine. I will be buying the gallon size soon as this spray bottle only has about 2 washes/uses (it lasts a…

Made Zero Difference

As funny as it is to say I used a spray after drying the car it didn't help. On the contrary, it only increased my drying time. I have a lot of decent detailing products and this is one that I won't be stocking up on. I see the benefit of drying your car for a very long time and letting it dry in the sun before you reach it. It rehydrates a small area that you can wipe off. It does not add any hydrophobic properties or behavior to the area it is applied to. Pros: The bottle is nice. If you are…

$15 for 16 oz vs. $20 for 512 oz.

Weak plastic. The atomizer can easily break. In addition, this product is excellent for drying. This stuff is expensive at $15 for 16 oz. I'm going to make my own quick detailer for a lot less and see if the Chemical Guys product is worth the extra money compared to a homemade quick detailer. It's worth it just for the smell, it's very similar to Meguiar's Quik Wax, which I found funny, but yeah, $15 for a 16oz dryer when I made it at home for about $20. I will probably never have to buy an…

After The Wash Shine

I'm a big fan of the Chemical Guys car care line. I really like After Wash Shine While You Dry Drying Agent with Hybrid Gloss Technology, but I prefer Chemical Guys Hybrid Gloss Spray Sealant V7 Optical Select and Quick Detailer. I love washing my car and then drying it with a blower. I then spray it on while applying Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 Optical Select High Gloss Spray Sealant and Quick Detailer. Quick Detailer does an excellent job of removing water stains. It leaves streak-free paint…

Do not use on the windshield!

I used this on my new Tesla Model 3. It worked great on the body, but I must have accidentally used the same rag on the windshield (inside and out). The windshield (inside and outside) is coated with the inside. I can't take it off! It's like never grabbing if you've ever used that little piece you don't see everywhere! Like at the window when the windshield wipers hit. If a window can fog up normally, it performs ten times worse everywhere because of this coating. I used Griot's Garage 11049…

Save money/don't buy/bad product

This is without a doubt the worst product I have ever used on my car. I have purchased 4 other chemical guys line of auto chemicals and I love how they give my car the look and feel of the interior. Some were for paint, some for interiors, like plastic door panels, dashboards, seats, etc. But it was complete crap. I waxed my car about a month before using this product and it was almost impossible to get off. In the end I washed the car again and dried it with good microfiber towels. I'll…

Do not use when epilating

Price too high, 16 ounce bottle doesn't do 2 separate full washes on a mid sized sedan. I'd rather pay $10 for a 16 ounce bottle. Instead of; If you want to rinse your car spot-free, wash your car in the evening after sunset so the sun doesn't dry out the water and cause water stains. Makes drying easier but creates a thin layer of shine that eliminates the need to add wax. The wax lasts 2+ months so why would I spray on a rinse coat that has a shine and then add the wax? The glossy layer after

I left my car in a mess - car care

tl;dr: It sucks and totally pointless when you wax. So where do I start, I've been looking (and still looking) for a good one. After wash spray, just something to take care of the remaining water stains and add a little shine to the car. Definitely not. What it does well: It breaks the surface tension of water, so raw color sheets are better and wax color sheets are better than balls (better idea, use a leaf blower) - Adds a little lubricity if you don't already have a smooth waxed surface…
