Good Product for Wii Disc Error!

Worked great! I got a disc error on my Wii. Although there were no instructions, I found a video on You Tube and was able to fix the Wii myself! This disc and the little tool that came with it was just what I needed!

Fixed my Wii! in Accessories

My Wii clicked and ejected the game disc so it was pretty much useless. I have the model RVL-001. Follow the ifixit instructions. After that it worked great! Be careful with flex cable connectors, they are fragile. It also included a Y screwdriver which is a bonus.

The drive will NOT recognize GameCube discs and is therefore NOT suitable for all models.

If you have an original Nintendo Wii with GameCube connectors that is backward compatible with GameCube games, this drive will not work. It will continue to play Wii games but will NOT read GameCube discs. This question was also asked in the FAQ section and the seller replied "THIS IS A DISK DRIVE NOT A HARD DISK" showing that he has no idea what he is talking about and in return provides no useful information.
