I bought these wedding cake shipping boxes. The design of the boxes makes it difficult to put the cake in the box and the box will fold over the cake. I destroyed 4 boxes and had to redo the frosting on 2 cakes because the box collapsed and ruined the frosting I worked so hard to make. These are beautiful boxes, just completely unsuitable for cakes.

I bought these to make it easier to take decorated cakes to work, events etc and they fit well in the boxes. You have to put your cakes on it and it's too easy to ruin the decorations. Also, the side flaps will touch the sides of your cakes, so you'll need to tape them down to keep them out of the cake. They are great for candy and cookies, but not cake. I probably won't buy them again.

The box looks nice but it is difficult to put the cake in it. I had to seal the sides with tape to keep them from bending and hitting the cake. Putting the cake in the box scratched the edges of the cake. Luckily it didn't ruin the design. I don't know what happened when they had to take the cake out of the box! Good box for other baked goods (cookies, donuts, tarts, etc) but not cakes.
