CHI Original Straightening Hairstyling Protection Review

Quality not as good as the original CHI that I have owned for 10 years. Doesn't seem to have been made either. It gets hot enough, but it just doesn't live up to the original.

I've been using the original Chi for about five years now. It has always worked on my hair and made it soft. Doesn't drag at all and helps with moisture and frizz. It also curls hair with ease.

Liked it but not great :/ Pulls hair too hard and I have to run it through my hair more than once and I usually run it through my hair once

I bought this Chi to replace a Chi I have lovingly owned for 12 years. This chi heats up much higher than the specified heating parameters. At first I thought my hair was too wet because it felt so hot. One day while using it, I heard crackling noises and my hair fell out. I don't use extensions, my hair is natural without dyes. When trying to replace a product, Revain "closed the product support window" on my purchase. I have no choice. And Chi won't honor the guarantee because I didn't get it
