Real jackhammers for the overhaul.

I have owned several of these over the years. This is the only air hammer. Everything else is only good for upholstery work or watch repairs. If that guy from Snapon, McTools, Cornhole, or Matco tells you otherwise, that's bullshit. Ask them if this bad boy's pieces will suit them. You will not. It needs 1/2 inch bits and they will break easily anyway. If you work farm equipment, construction equipment, or trucks (sorry, your Super Debt or Duramax or Bouncers aren't trucks, they're crate cars)…

Such a beast is good for demolition drills and hammers

I drive old used cars and those from the rust prone areas of the country can have a lot of fun disassembling them. I don't use it often because it's so big and powerful, but sometimes I need it and there's no substitute. I bought this after seeing Eric the Car Guy use a Big Nasty (AP rival hammer) on a rusted Subaru rear tie rod bolt and it was more than worth it. Whoever compared it to a gun was right. I use some big 200 ton pistons at work, but that's insane power to hold in your hands. I try

Powerful air hammer.

Killer Thing! I used the IR 122Max and thought it would hit hard, but this CP717 leaves the IRs feeling breathless. The only downside I've really encountered is that it's so strong that it can break itself. You should regularly check that everything that has threads is tight, otherwise the parts will pop out during use. Other than that, we've seen very little that it can't analyze itself. Edit 8/27/2020. I've had it for 16 months now and it's starting to wear out. I'm still happy with it, but…
