I love these shades! We installed french doors in our dining room a few days ago and they just keep getting better. Initially, the roller mechanisms seemed too strong and did not allow the curtain to open fully. We've given it a few days and it's great! One broken, fixed with superglue, hope it holds or can be rolled up and fixed. At first I liked them, but they gradually fall apart, wear out. at the ends and get tangled when opening and closing. I had to put a nail on the edge to make them work, they just broke on the ends. Don't waste your money, find something else. They are not durable at all and show new problems every time I touch them. I installed it in the bracket myself and it took about 5 minutes (no kidding) to screw the bracket in and snap the blinds into place. These blinds are beautiful. If you get wider than average I would recommend being very careful to have the center of the bottle as you roll it up and down. Ours overlapped a bit and started fraying at one end. We ordered 8 of these and 5 of them had to be sent back because they didn't stay down. Although we love her. So I just hung these blinds about ten minutes ago. I hung the first set directly on a solid wood panel without dowels and it was very easy. For the other two I needed drywall anchors. They come with anchors, but they're junk. I drilled eight holes in my wall thinking it was my fault, but I tried pre-drilling even smaller holes and those dowels still twisted in place after the first five turns with the screwdriver. This is the 4th Chicology color I have bought and the quality of this color pales in comparison to the 3 I bought in 2019.
