So I just hung these blinds about ten minutes ago. I hung the first set directly on a solid wood panel without dowels and it was very easy. For the other two I needed drywall anchors. They come with anchors, but they're junk. I drilled eight holes in my wall thinking it was my fault, but I tried pre-drilling even smaller holes and those dowels still twisted in place after the first five turns with the screwdriver. And of course a very small hole that you couldn't put an anchor through. Luckily I had my own set of anchors with matching screws which I had no trouble with. DO NOT use the anchors provided. I'm happy with the color and they move smoothly. Time will tell how long they last. An economical solution to the outdated and dusty curtains that were there before. I'll still buy them for our basement.
