Doesn't work with some projectors

Need to order another bracket that fits JVC DLA-NX5B ceiling mount projector. I can't rate durability, ease of assembly and value for money as I'm still waiting for the mount to be delivered.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent universal mount

We are a system integrator and we use these mounts all the time. They are durable and fit 99% of the projectors we list. We think this brace will last up to 12,000 units for $20,000. We never had a single problem. Highly recommended for any project. Very flexible from the smallest projector to larger devices.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • High price

I'm not installing for the first time!

A good quality product. But! The mount has installation instructions that are difficult to understand and is not a good mount for a beginner! And incomplete! Not everything you need is there for assembly! You need to buy screws to mount it on the ceiling! So plan a trip to the hardware store! We have a workshop at home so I need access to the equipment. and this was the fourth time I installed a ceiling mount. so good luck

  • New

Very difficult. One of the best mounts.

If you're looking for one of the best and most micro-adjustable projector mounts, this is the one for you. You can nudge it when connecting/disconnecting cables and it stays aligned where you set it. Adjustable in all angles. I attached it to a ceiling mount for a corner ceiling and it worked great. It's not cheap, but my cheaper mount I had shook the bass in movies, and this mount is so solid it stopped about 2/3 of the vibration.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Strap

Best quality bracket to fit bracket

I have installed many projectors over the years and tried different types of brackets. Chief's universal mounts are by far the best and will fit all projectors. Always get the most secure projector mount, the most flexible projector mount and by far the most stable mounting platform. The Chief is well worth the extra money compared to cheap mounts. The end result is a finished installation that you know will stand the test of time.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Excellent ceiling mount, terrible when an extension column is required

5 stars for flush ceiling mount. Easy connection with Panasonic PT-AE7000U. Very well built, sturdy, has lots of fine adjustment options but does not come with ceiling mounting screws. 1 star if an extension column is required. Bought a Chief 12" expansion speaker and tried 3 different speakers and none cut the manufacturers recommended 4 threads. U-Bracket or ceiling tile. Thought it might be user error but a Home Depot employee found that the threads were also poorly trimmed. So a great…

Pros
  • Consistent test results

Used with Panasonic AE3000U

Installing the AE3000U was a bit tricky at first. The problem is, if the projector's mounting holes are too close together, the four adjustable feet can interfere with each other, making their installation difficult. (It would be nice if the kit also included two extra short legs instead of four long ones.) The trick is to adjust the legs to their maximum height to get the best spacing. Anyway, it works great and looks like it will work with almost any projector. I chose this brand as I already

Pros
  • All-Points Security Systems offers exclusive anti-theft steel locking elements at all connection points.
Cons
  • Socket required

Looks good quality but terrible instructions.

I used this product to install a new Epson 5040UB ceiling projector. At first I thought I bought the wrong mount, then I thought there weren't enough parts. Then, without the help of the installation guides, I realized that it installed exactly the opposite of what I expected. Of course it would be nice to have some views in the installation guide showing actual installation situations. They seem to care more about everything except installing in XYZ conditions. The manual was clearly written…
