The new hydroflasks have no "edge" around the edge of the opening, making this small device useless for the latest design. I tried to settle for just putting a black ring on the neck of my bottle and then screwing a straw onto it and securing it that way, but my bottle leaked horribly. I have a 64 ounce iron water bottle (peach color, wide neck) that is large and uncomfortable to carry when full. This strap is perfect, it barely fits over the metal edge and the lid still opens. For users of the iron bottle: a metal screw cap does not fit at the same time as a metal rim, if that makes sense. I have a 40 oz Ironflask and wanted a grip that had a lower profile than buckled paracord grips and looked like it would fit the picture. The goods came quite quickly, the colors are bright, the tape is very durable. Some other reviewers point out that the ring doesn't fit, so the pin doesn't fit them.
