Great in theory, but not in practice. Once placed in the bottle, the gel didn't stay frozen for very long no matter how cold the bottle was. I used it maybe 5 times before the pouring plug broke and I had to throw it away.

Works perfectly. You put it in the freezer and then put it in a bottle of wine to chill it. It's a good idea, but it's better to just put the bottle of wine in the fridge to cool it down.

I've been looking for something to chill my wine when I forget to chill it before dinner. The product is advertised as a wine cooler, but that only means that it keeps wine cold. The instructions specifically state that the wine must be chilled before using the product.
