Disappointing mould for Cake Decorations

I was hoping the mould would make the chocolate coating on my cake look artsy but instead, I ended up with a botched sugar-crafted mess. My analysis of this product showed that it was poorly made and not sturdy enough to withstand heat or pressure. Stains and residue were impossible to remove even after thorough cleaning. Overall, I do not recommend this product for anyone's arts and crafts needs.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, leaves stains

Not what I expected

Smaller than expected and difficult to pull out. Works best with melted chocolate or modeling chocolate. The mold isn't strong enough for gum or fudge. Requires very gentle handling to remove parts without breaking.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

When you do this, they work like chocolate molds.

I made chocolate chess pieces out of it. I believe it is impossible to ever get a cross on a king piece. The king comes out fine but the cross will never come out as it is too thin on the cross section of the mold. Towers are the easiest. Pawns can be tricky, but you can get them out intact with patience. First, when you wash and dry your chess pieces, either air dry them or use a lint-free towel. Do not try to dry with a paper towel or the silicone mold will leave lint. Make sure they are…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
