Great soft shirts for dogs. I bought the Small and XSmall because I wasn't sure what would fit my Chihuahua who weighs just under 4 pounds. Xsmall was perfect for her. The small is for a dog around 7lbs and up.

I have two dogs that weigh about 15lb each. They are slightly longer than they are tall. The big ones fit well. Wednesday went on, but was too short. Here is a photo of medium and large for reference. I washed the large ones and they still fit but have definitely shrunk. In the last photo black in large before washing and white in large after washing.

This dog shirt runs one size larger. Maybe very small. My pug is 18 pounds, he's tiny, and I couldn't even get both feet in my shirt. This got him into a freaking depressed state as he couldn't even fit in a plus size. He returned his purchase and will not buy another size as he doesn't want it to be XXL. He wanted me to show you a photo. So no other dog should go through what he did.

We love it! I have a medium for my 10 lb cat Wally when she is walking in our backyard. It is black and very difficult to see in green bushes or grass. This is perfect to point out! I was also very surprised by the quality - 100% cotton, soft and breathable. I measured the Wally and the M seemed the perfect size although I totally thought it was too big. But Medium was perfect for him! So measure your pet!

My dog is a 9 year old 60lb Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix. Very fluffy. Judging by the reviews, I took the XXL and made the right choice! Perfect for her! I was a little nervous about ordering this item after reading all the sizing reviews. Pound Maltipu! She gets nervous and crazy in the rain and thunderstorms, so I wanted to order her these "doggy shirts" so she could wear them like a homemade shirt.
