🧱 Chosera 600 Grit Sharpening Stone with Base Review

Probably my least favorite stone from the Choosera collection, it looks soft as more materials come from the stone than from the knife. It's almost a soft feel that some people probably like, but not me. Although it does its job well and quickly.

What struck me when I received the product was that it had no English on it and everything was in Japanese so I believed it was genuine. When opened, it contained a base glued to the stone itself and also a leveling stone. Works great, but I would like less sand for reprofiling.

This stone replaced my Shapton 320 and Chosera 400 as a starting point prior to my grinding progression. Cuts very quickly and leaves permanent scratches for the next stone (1k/2k). This stone produces a lot of sludge for those who appreciate this style of sharpening (not much for me), but wears out slower than you might think. (I understand how that sounds backwards).
