Great product I also live in co. .very windy area. Do not use tariffs. Tie him to a tree. I can't blow. I tied it to a flat wooden pallet. Never lean. But you have to wait 2 minutes to fully explode. Americans are always in a hurry.

The only issues we had with this product: 1. The fan is in the wrong place to self-inflate. In most cases we had to help inflate due to the location of the fan.2. If it starts raining before it billows, you'll have to help drain the water under the noise or it won't come out of the ground.

My grandchildren love this inflatable toy. The youngest boy tried to sit down with the penguins. It's big and very noticeable. I was glad it included draws and bets so it wouldn't get blown away. The fabric resembles a parachute. Some water got in after the rain and I was able to wring it out and let it dry in the sun before packing it away. I've used this inflatable for two winters with no problems.

I would not recommend this inflatable figure. It is too big for the built-in fan; The fan doesn't produce enough air to keep his legs straight, so he was "kneeling" all the time. It's so big that when there's wind, it pulls the cables out of the ground and takes off. Also, I've only had it three years and it's dead. I haven't determined if the fan is dead or the transformer is dead.

For one of the biggest explosions I've ever had, this thing has to have one of the weakest motors. No matter how we set it up, the engine is covered with an extra leg when idling. This explosion had to be helped every night. I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews but I'm so glad I did! One reviewer said it doesn't work well on the east coast, but it might work in California. I'm in SoCal and haven't had any problems. The fan is powerful enough to keep it upright and the light is bright enough to see along my dead end street. It's perfect and looks so cute!
