Some perspectives: I'm 5ft 5in, height 14, measurements 42in 32in 41in. I ordered a large size based on the size chart even though I need a size chart. Waist measurement included. When I took it out of my pocket, I could tell that it's slightly larger than your average size of 12-14, although it still fits better than I expected. However, it is looser than I would like. If you need that extra seating for your celebratory dinner, go with your normal size, otherwise I would recommend downsizing.

Do you want a lot of attention on holiday? Buy this dress! I got loads of compliments and laughs everywhere (for the Santa Cat version) and it was just super comfortable and a lot of fun to wear. Sometimes I stuck a pin in the neckline to make it less revealing, but it was fine without the pin. I bought a medium and it fits me perfectly; I usually wear a size 8 in dresses/trousers. The only thing missing are pockets!

I bought this dress as a last resort because I wanted to look festive for Christmas. I was glad it was delivered on time as promised. I was also happy that the material isn't too flimsy and has some stretch. I am currently in between sizes (L-XL), but the large one was just ok. I have a slightly longer torso, so the dress is mid-thigh (a bit higher than in the photo). Happy to have something to wear for Christmas parties next year when the world opens up again.

It was excellent value for money - a good weight fabric with a pleasantly silky texture. Doesn't look or feel cheap at all. It's very flattering. I would say it's a bit big but it hangs well. I'm usually small to medium sized, my measurements are 37" bust, 27.5" waist, I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs. I tried on the small first and it fits me like I wear a large or a larger medium size, the waist is the only part that really needs to be a better size, the waist belt was at least a 3" loose area. It also went on my medium length kneecap what was ok but was hoping above the knee for the boots I would wear with it. Can't wait to wear it at Christmas, it fits surprisingly well. I'm 5'5" and about 210 pounds. I bought a very large one and it fits great! I may have to figure out how to close the bust area a bit, it's definitely a plunging neckline (but not that bad).
