The chair was easy to assemble, I did it on the floor and just pushed hard enough to get the screws in and the screwdriver did the rest. All my friends who have seen this chair commented how beautiful he was. That's hundreds of dollars cheaper than buying from a furniture store.

Love these chairs. Have two of these. Unfortunately, one of them appeared to have been returned and was not packaged properly, leaving the hands badly scratched. Revain should have checked the returned item, which apparently they didn't. The chair itself is comfortable and I really like the fabric (much darker than the picture). It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, which is great for my apartment.

I LOVE this chair, the design and color is perfect. But it came with an almost obvious stress crack through the curved rear frame. This is similar to the stress packing problem. The rest of the box was in perfect condition and everything was well packed to avoid scratches. Even 2 plywood frames have been strategically placed to avoid the stress issue. It seems to require more or harder wood than birch. I'll take a chance and re-order because it's worth the extra effort.

First note: the fabric is a bit strange. Looks like old leather, feels like cheap suede. But it's the color I wanted for the home office, and it's cheaper than a real leather chair, so we're fine. It's comfortable enough, although the arms are a little low for a 5ft 10in person and the back touches me just below the neck (I'm 6ft 1in). I should have looked more closely at the photo to see what material the seat/backrest is actually made of. Feels and looks like textured suede. The brown color (which I bought) isn't bad, but definitely doesn't look like leather. Also a note on assembly: the included instructions are useless.
