Price was $15 more than a similar SAX set. The red is lighter than almost burgundy and the green was a shade lighter than the SAX. I like that the colors are not so dark. I could further adjust the secondary colors. Whites and blacks are hard to find these days.

Surprised by the quality of this color. I'm a canvas party instructor and tubes of paint are made for waste. I bought 6 wide mouth ketchup bottles (one for each color) filled with different colors and it worked well for class. The color is thick and the pigmentation is good. I will buy again!

That was a great product! We draw nights in my art studio and it's great. The blue is a bit on the light side, so keep that in mind, but knowing it will help you blend the colors better. Also, make sure you open the box soon - a bottle has exploded! We ordered several at once, when we realized it the return period had already expired - just watch out!

This pack of six half gallon acrylic paints is great for my art class at school. We have a lot of colors so I need something that strikes the right balance between affordable price and quality. Chroma Chromacryl meets all requirements and lasts a long time. It's cool that green is one of the primary colors. As with other colors, we learn to create our own shades and shades by mixing primary colors, black and white. So it's great! I have bought half gallon pumps for them and they are great.

*I bought the main and add-on sets and am using my rating for each. Would definitely recommend this brand and product if you are an artist using acrylics. Delivery was great, quality paint and a pleasure to use - I use it for large format canvas work. Please note that this is a THICK paint and 'thick' is very often a desirable paint quality, but for those not used to such mediums (the cheapest acrylic is much thinner), I've seen disappointment.
