I'm not happy that one of the lightbulbs didn't work

I bought two bulbs, sad my bulbs when I put them in my three way bulb they blew out straight away, one bulb works and the other doesn't, the bulbs came with another purchase from Revain which came in a big box and i just weighed the bulb it would be stupid to put that big box in and send it back so i don't know what to do so i'm just saying it doesn't work what it does but the other thing works fine, i don't know if it was a bad bulb or not, but i'm the eldest who needs the light

much dimmer than the equivalent bulb

It was a waste of money. I needed a new bulb to illuminate where they sit and read or knit in the evenings - a bright light is necessary. I figured I'd try this full-spectrum lamp to improve the display of the colors I'm working with, so I jumped in for a higher price. What a disappointment! I plugged it in and cranked it up and then started blinking because that's far from the amount of light I get from other bulbs. I replaced it with a traditional 3-strip from another lamp and found I can't…

Excellent full spectrum lamp

My doctor has recommended that I use full spectrum lighting for SAD (seasonal affective depression) during the winter and summer when there is so much light in the shade that I get very little sunlight. I found this 3 way light bulb to use in a 3 way light bulb I bought at a flea market and it works just as well with no glare as the fluorescent I had previously with a custom light bulb. I use it in the morning when I go online to check my email. But I can also use it in the evening without any…

This is a good bulb - look at the wattage

For some reason a lot of 3 way bulbs aren't rated to use a 50-100-150 bulb which annoys me because I have a likes nice bright light. I've been using this lamp for many years because I love the full spectrum of light it gives off. I have found it to last for months or even more than a year with regular use. I actually returned to this site to look for the 30-70-100w version that is used in most of my lamps and it doesn't seem to be out of stock. I'm trying to use LED lightbulbs but in many…

Superb full spectrum lamp

My doctor has advised me to use full spectrum lighting for SAD (seasonal affective depression) during the winter and summer when there is so much shade that very little sunlight gets into my small underground apartment. . I found this 3 way light bulb to use in a 3 way light bulb I bought at a flea market and it works just as well with no glare as the fluorescent I had previously with a custom light bulb. I use it in the morning when I go online to check my email. But I can also use it in the…

Mood lifter in a lightbulb

This light bulb saves lives. My office is cavernous with no windows and this has taken a toll on my energy, sanity and sleeping habits. I bought this bulb with some trepidation after reading the mixed reviews (that's a lot of money if the bulb burns out in a week) and it has been running in my desk lamp for about two months with no problems. As some reviewers have pointed out (here and in reviews of other Lumiram lights on Revain), the lamp tends to get a bit warm, but for me it's not…
