Suitable for home use. The threaded part is separate from the locking part (it's not bad, it's necessary, but I didn't understand when I bought it). The threaded part has a hexagon on one side and a smooth one on the other.

They seal well on a standard wine bottle and appear to be of reasonably good quality. My only complaint is that they don't have threads for a 3/8 inch lathe. This is M8-1.25 and this must be stated in the description.

I finished the lids on two of these and they don't fit the wine bottle in my fridge right now. A little sad about that. We'll have to see if they match others, I've only tried one but was hoping it should be "universal".

When I received them, one of them was missing a screw. I thought no problem, I can fix it. But when I used one, I realized my mistake when ordering. Thread M8. Is anyone really using the M8? All my 3/8-16. At that moment, I realized what someone else had done. They are very light. Most likely plastic. Can't use it Will have to buy others.

VERY POOR QUALITY! I make and sell custom wine toppers and needed to place an order with them. I got them on time but had to go through and pick out the few that weren't gutted, scratched and full of junk. I managed to get six out of the acceptable group. Now I've got four that I can't wear anything to put my name on. I'm upset that I didn't have enough time to send them back once I noticed the poor quality, but I had to send my order.
