Does what it should.

I'm installing this in my car and I love the fact that the clamp is very tight. That being said, opening it up and putting the glasses on with one hand can be a little painful, but it gets nowhere. I'm sure it will last as long as I'm here. This is a good buy. I prefer button and loop clips, but this does the job. I agree!

Great product with small modifications

They are very well made, all metal with protection where you want it. I modified mine, the end of the spring clip pivots up so the clip presses against the headliner when the visor is up. I used the cardboard that came with it to protect the metal trim and pliers to bend it at the end. Fits perfectly and lays flat on the top of the visor.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • So so

Overall good looking nice metal body

Overall good looking nice metal body, rubber inside holds my thin plastic Ray-Bans well. Made in China (why does the description say Made in USA?) and the top half doesn't match the main body, but it's not very noticeable when attached to the visor. Easy to operate with one hand after repeated use. Would pay a few bucks more for better build quality not made in China.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect for its purpose

It's really heavy and very strong. The clamping tension is incredibly strong - and that's the problem. I'm just trying to keep my sunglasses on the visor instead of mounting the helmet to the wall. This product works too well and is actually bad. Impossible to use one hand and inconvenient to use two hands. The clamping voltage is so strong that it is very inconvenient to use. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Best in its niche

I have these on every visor in every car!

These things are damn cool. How can anyone get excited about a visor sunglass holder? I don't know but I seriously put them on all the visors on all our cars including the service visor. They fit any visor size. Without them, my wife would put her sunglasses face down on the center console and scratch them like hell. Then I'll slam the door and tell her everything's fine. This is why Chams saved my marriage.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Ideal for thin frame sunglasses

I drive an old sports car and the bodywork doesn't isolate very well from road or engine vibrations so anything that isn't securely fastened rattles. I used one of those foam clips on my sun visor, but my aviator goggles were too thin for the foam to stick and they rumbled like crazy while I drove. This clip has almost completely solved this problem. He holds my flyers and now they hardly rattle. This is the perfect solution for those with thin frames.

Pros
  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Very durable, high quality. Must be modified for thick visors

I think this has to be the best and strongest sunglass clip out there. These clips will not fit thick sun visors without modification. I had to bend them to fit and am very happy with it. My 4Runner has very thick sun visors and unfortunately this clip cannot slide on it. My visors are about an inch thick. These brackets are very, very strong. The metal is very strong. So to adjust them to my thick visors I had to use two strong pliers. See photos.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

I am very happy with this

I am very happy with it. It won't fall apart like all cheap plastic ones. It holds both my thicker sunglasses and my standard wire frame glasses with ease. Update: I've been using it for 6 months now. This is the best visor clip that will never break and still hold securely. I would have seen 3-5 cheaper clips at this point so it's a real money saver in the long run, although it costs more it's worth every penny. Update: I've been using it for over 3 times now. years and still love it. It still

Can't return for some reason. Not easy to use. device awareness.

Strong and durable product. However, it is non-refundable for any reason. With purchase even within 30 days. I bought a pair of sunglasses and these at the same time. When they arrived, the sunglasses turned out to be very large and curved. They hang very low in my line of sight, a few inches from the visor, simply because of their size and shape, and now I'm sticking with them even though I have to keep them on the center console. This is for use with very flat lenses. If your glasses are big…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
