Stupid Toyota didn't put a plug in the back seat, only USB. We needed a cigarette lighter socket for our DVD player without running a cord through the front seat. It was the perfect solution!

Purchased for use with our Cobra iRad radar detector. Unfortunately the detector didn't turn on so I sent the cable back. Maybe you have better luck or use it for something else.

If you have a SMALL device that requires very little power, that's good. If you want to use it for things like a phone charger, it doesn't work that well. A simple fix that doesn't work. Good idea but bad delivery. I do not recommend.

I can use my USB port to power my Escort 360C! YUP! 12V socket 3 meters from the windscreen. No more long, spiral cables. The hard wiring doesn't work, there is no gap in the fuse box in the left leg to run the HW wire through the dash to the detector. TO WIN!

Great for LED lights and phone charging but I wouldn't recommend hooking up a heated seat or anything really powerful to this thing as it isn't USB powered it powers a wall socket so I would recommend this adapter if you are trying to connect things that support a 5V USB connection or less, nothing more to be sure.

I had high hopes for this 12V USB adapter, I wanted to use it on the tire air pump described in the product, it will work. I ordered a small 12v tire pump from Revain at the same time as this adapter. They both arrived at the same time so I went straight to my car, plugged the adapter into my USB, connected the tire pump to the 12 volt end of the adapter, turned on the pump and bam it blew up my USB port as as soon as i turn on the pump. I bought this to charge my camera charger when camping which only had a light plug. So far it works as advertised, just got it today so I can't comment on durability yet. My only concern is the plastic case that houses the electronics in the center of the device. When I opened the box, the two halves of the case fell apart, revealing the components inside.
