This product provides a clean hole for RG6 coaxial cable to pass through the wall from the outside. It has some grip and seems a bit flimsy but should get the job done. I have to cut off the F connector to use it.

Very good solid bushings. Works great for a finished look where I need to run wires through the walls of my van when installing my solar panel. The wires from the plate fit snugly into the shaped holes, better than expected! Thank you guys!

I need this product to close a cable hole through a plaster wall. I was able to open the item, route the Cat6 cable, caulk the hole and install through the hole in the plaster wall. When finished it looks very professional. Tip: Warm up the object before you cut it!

My main issue with them is that they are made of flimsy, brittle plastic. So if you drive them into a hole with a hammer, there's a good chance the front will break. Also, the section that fits into the wall has a weird oblong shape that won't fit into a drilled round hole, leaving no gaps around the edge.

I have used them on buildings with metal walls and wanted to protect my Category 5 cable. They don't work on metal buildings. You don't stay in the hole. I had to use silicone to keep them in place and had to go back and adjust after unplugging the cable. I find they work better on a thicker wall. It was still easier than using the eyelet.

These grommets have an odd shape: they get narrower, which means the tube that the cable goes through shrinks as it gets longer. It's not quite round either. Cheaper plastic than I expected. RG6 quad cables will NOT work with these grommets, and I'm not sure regular RG6 coax cables will work. I will return for a refund.

I'm surprised how fragile they are. I was expecting something heavier and more flexible. They are light, thin and break easily. But as far as I know it's the same for other brands. Not exactly what I was looking for. But I chose it because the outside dimensions were close enough. However, this can only be used with certain wires. I wish the drywall had a 1" round hole for the cable and camera which came with bulky ends. Which I couldn't find here on Amazon so I choose these. I cut off the entire end leaving two flat circles of superglue at the entrance of the hole. It worked, but I had a hard time getting it to work. Overall, I believe this article will work for what it…
