I bought a size larger than my daughter's current size based on feedback from others. There is little room to grow behind the toes, but they fit perfectly in width. The velcro doesn't cause them any problems. My daughter loves her. I love that the mesh keeps the pebbles off their shoes. When she wears regular sandals, stones get stuck in them, injuring her feet. I told her these shoes were her "Sunshine Shoes," so now she randomly says "Sunshine Shoes!" while they're at it. It's damn cute 😍.

Not bad shoes for spring-summer. You are flexible. I ordered a size 9 as I figured it would fit half a size up. Looks like one size bigger. I measured my 20 month old daughter's foot and shoes so people can see before ordering and hopefully this will help them order the right size. Not too small and not too big. The size chart does not list sizes under 11. So I accepted and ordered a size 9. I kept them. He wore them and people liked them. They ask me where I bought them.

This is a great breathable shoe with a quick drying fabric upper. The lining is more like a cotton blend and doesn't dry quickly, but dries within a day if left on. The soles are very flexible and ideal for beginners who still need to "feel” their gait.
