CIPA 03001 Gray Wireless RV Leveler, Compact Size - 6.2 x 9.4 x 2.4 inches Review

It's a waste of money. I received it, set it up and immediately checked its accuracy with a high quality 9 inch torpedo level. The level of the torpedo showed that my wooden floor was perfectly level. CIPA 03001 specifies that the floor is more than 1/2 inch out of level for the entire length of the unit. That would be over a foot the length of my RV. Useless. I immediately repackaged it for a return.

I thought it would be great but like almost all other reviews you have to lift the back 1/2 inch to show the level. CIPA USA, should have left a message, of course didn't call me back (blame Covid?) Save yourself time and money and pass on this good idea, poorly executed and half @$$ -- try something different . it's not for you you will thank me

Everything seemed to work fine the first time or two, but surprisingly. After the 30-day return period expired, the E-Level was no longer reliable. I had to go back to a carpenter level. The last time I used an electronic level it was about 1/4 the bubble level and 1/2 to 3/4 the bubble level compared to a 3 foot long carpenter level. At least I didn't pay full price for it. Got it for half the price as one of Revain's "open package" deals.

Don't buy, it's a waste of money. When the trailer is level, two lights will flash to indicate that the rear of the trailer needs to be raised. I took it indoors and placed it on a counter with three levels of carpentry. After checking the meter's level, I turned the unit on as instructed. This unit (model 03001) is said to be an upgrade of the original 03000 model. In a blog post on CIPA USA's website, they claim they spotted this customer's complaints that it wasn't working were entirely valid. They insisted on completely redesigning the device and fixing the issues with showing the wrong level. As many have complained, cheap plastic. The instructions are terrible. But it works. It really is like that. I think those who complain about the level not showing or always showing just don't understand what it's good for. It is NOT intended to be used as an accurate instrument, so if it reads level, if a level or bubble level says the surface is 1/2 degree from level, it is probably accurate for the device and so close to level, not noticing what you have won in a mobile home.
