Sent back for another

Had to send back, mirror arm won't stay closed. I have ordered another one, I have three more on a Honda Rincon quad and they are very good quality. I think it had a bad build, I could tell that was the problem when I took it out of the box! 😠😠😠 Who collected and packed this?

Well designed mirrors and accessories

I bought two of these to give to some friends of mine. I would not miss it in my 4 wheel. I had the same initially, except for the attachment mechanism. My old one was similar but it used a piece of rubber that compresses when you tighten the screw to hold the mirror in place. It appears to be a metal bracket that wedges outward when tightened to hold the mirror. I like this design more because you don't have to worry about it hanging around as much as a rubber mount. Not a bad price either. I…

Quality mirror: body and frame parts

Just fit this replacement mirror to my Yamaha Kodiak as another one was damaged in a tipping over. This mirror was of much better quality than the one supplied by the dealer (also not original). The original mirror never held upright no matter how hard I tightened the end screw. This mirror should work better as the "expansion" part that runs inside the bars is all steel and not rubber like the original. My only very small complaint is that it's a bit big, but the measurements are in the…

Does the job and is unobtrusive

It's durable and easy to install on my Polaris. The mount appears to have been made from a strong material and after a quick installation I rode it down some pretty bumpy gravel roads at pretty good speed to see how it coped with a bit of a shake. It has held up great and offers good rear visibility, which is essential when the gravel road is used by cars/trucks - it's too dangerous to constantly look behind you. The only reason it didn't get five stars is that the mirror face wasn't attached…

Looks good, works as advertised just needs constant adjustment

I was able to fit them to my 2015 Polaris 570 after forcing the rubber off the end of the handlebars. The compression process they use works, but it's easy to pull off if you put too much force on the screw. However, it takes a lot of effort to get them to stay in one place for them to be used. There was no problem replacing one. However, they don't stay tight enough to be reliable. The slightest bump confuses them due to the very dubious method of holding them on the handlebars. It looks like…

Food mirror used on a Polaris 550 ATV

The original post was very positive, see below. this is an update. After use, the new model broke twice. The latter requires me to disassemble the mirror, drill a hole in the bracket and replace the screw with a new screw. The first mistake was that the insert in the handlebar broke off and I had to change its operation. It was a pain but I like the functionality of the mirror, the latter quality was less than satisfactory. I didn't send it back just because it was easier to fix myself. If I…
