    Does not work best in analyzers

    Bought for my homebrew. It showed 0% ABV for every batch I tested, so I tried store-bought beer. Still reading 0%. Completely without function

    Good set but not very accurate.

    A good set but not very accurate. The first use gave me unexpectedly low readings. I measured the quality unit and it turned out to be low, so I need to create a calibration symbol.

    Mixed opinion.: Areometer

    The numbers are very small and difficult to read, the colors of the stripes are very rich, so there is no particular contrast with the numbers and lines. But it's very well built, accurate, well packaged and has a cleaning brush.

    I am satisfied with this set. While I found it a bit difficult to read at times (more lack of experience than anything), it's pretty accurate as far as I can tell. I guess I'll get a better idea once my current batches of mead are gone and I can get a definitive reading.

    I only bought it because of the mention of a very narrow cylinder because I wanted a spare hydrometer. The cylinder is no narrower than my current one, so that was a moot point. The set itself is good, everything else corresponds to the description.

    This seems to work quite well and I'm sure it will last for many years to come. The only thing that irritates me is that it is called a "division cylinder hydrometer" when it is actually an hydrometer with a simple glass cylinder: You can't measure with a cylinder because it doesn't have a scale.
