Everything seems fine. Inaccurately described.
This seems to work quite well and I'm sure it will last for many years to come. The only thing that irritates me is that it is called a "division cylinder hydrometer" when it is actually an hydrometer with a simple glass cylinder: You can't measure with a cylinder because it doesn't have a scale.
