Circuit Performance VC3 Series Silver Aluminum Valve Stem Caps (Set Of 4) Review

I put them on my pickup truck for 6 months and they are stuck. They cost me $200 as I had to replace all 4 valve stems with tire pressure sensors. Careful, maybe never capturing would have helped. Very disappointed.

DO NOT BUY! These caps are fused to my valve stems. No penetrating oil or wrench could remove them. I had to cut them off and replace the valve stems. And there are TPM sensors on my valve stems. At over $110 each, buying them was a VERY expensive mistake.

I have a Mercedes GL 350. Every time I leave the dealership I notice that the valve stem cap is missing which is annoying. I wanted a simple metal lid that doesn't stand out or is made out of cheap plastic. You are perfect. They don't have to be long or weird. Not bad for a normal European car.

Don't buy this. Aluminum (caps) and bronze (most valves) are reactive, especially in the presence of salt. Mine fused to the valve stem after less than 6 months of use due to oxidation. I had to use a dremmel to saw them off to add air to the tire. It was a mess and a huge pain in the ass.

The product is just great. If you don't use anti-seize compound on the valve stem threads, they can get stuck there from contact corrosion; Mixing different metals does weird things, just basic chemistry and it's not this product's fault. They should be advising people to use non-stick coatings, so I'm deducting a star.

I lost one of the plastic caps on the tire when checking the pressure. I was about to buy the plastic when I saw this one. Thinking they would be stronger I bought them. Nice, but three of the four were stuck to the valve stem and I couldn't remove them with pliers. I had to replace the stems. Now I'm concentrating on plastic.

I've had 4 of these and this is the second time in a few years that I've forgotten to check a tire after a repair. This place fixed my tires for free, so I know they're the most common place for valve caps to be thrown on cars after work. I decided to buy 4 packs instead of asking this place to give me some new caps. These valve caps are exactly the same as the 3 I have left over so it all worked out great. I was looking for something nicer than the gray plastic caps for my 19" Infiniti Q50 wheels and they are as elegant an answer to my search as the valve stem caps. I originally looked at caps with the Infiniti logo, but they seem to have trouble with the logo peeling off so i decided to keep it simple with an aluminum cap which looks good but most importantly provides durability.they look exactly like the picture.and i have one below attached couple of photos of my own (sorry for the dirty more…
