Lower your cable TV bill!

Very easy to install, can be hung on the wall or placed on a table. I got 23 clean channels (which was not the case with the previous, more expensive Radio Shack antenna). The room I use it in has a 6 foot fence behind one window and a forest behind another window. I thought that's why the previous antenna didn't have good reception. Apparently it wasn't. Saved $90 a Month by Giving Up Cable TV!

Works great with TV antennas

I had a pair of RCA bunny ears which were quite long and worked well. Due to the length, one of the ears eventually broke while I was fiddling with it. But with only one ear it worked great for years afterwards lol. But it looked like an eyesore so I decided to finally replace it with this Phillips. The "ears" don't go up as high as my old one, but it works exactly the same, which impressed me. So it's a lot more visually appealing without the two-foot-long metal ears sticking up in the air. I…

You may need an amplifier, but this antenna is great.

First I bought a flat indoor antenna. This worked very well, except in my area (Nashville, TN) NBC and PBS use VHF, not UHF. The flat antenna picked up local UHF channels excellently, but could not pick up VHF channels. So I bought this antenna advertised to get both. It was easy to connect and I was able to get NBC and PBS instantly with a few tweaks. The round wire is for UHF and the "bunny ears" are for VHF. My flat antenna had an inner round wire but no bunny ears. However, I noticed that…

Great with an amp but I don't use it anymore.

Do I recommend it? Yes, but only with an amplifier and only if you can put it VERY close to a window (especially for VHF). I'm only 30 miles from cell towers. but I still needed the $15 amps. and of course the best reception was at the window. There were two more channels than my amplified flat antenna (because of the VHF dipoles). I was more or less happy with it, but it was still weak on the FM side. PBS fails. I ended up replacing it with a ClearStream dipole and reattaching my flat antenna.
