Very important! A disadvantage.

The price of this kit is amazing. 4AWG IS REALLY 4AWG. Very thick wire. The kit has everything you need and more. This kit made my installation very, very easy. The only downside I noticed is the fuse holder. It's a very cheap fuse holder and the screw posts are bolts that go into the bottom of the plastic case. Unfortunately, these screw heads are visible from the outside of the fuse holder even when the cover is on. So if you accidentally touch the underside of the fuse holder to any part of…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Minor issues

Poor fuse holder design, everything else is fine

As a previous reviewer noted, the fuse holder is poorly designed, exposing the mounting screws on the underside of the fuse holder; the same page where it is to be installed. Not a big problem if you're mounting on plastic or wood, but if you want to mount this on the metal of a car you only have the plus 1 or 2 millimeters from the minus ground. which would be disastrous if they came into contact. I've seen the plastic fuse holder age, become brittle and eventually crack. A very bad design in…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not sure

I think it will be ok.

The cable is nice and easy to work with. The fuse box is a joke, I wouldn't attach it to anything that can also ground your battery, I attached mine to plastic. RCA cables look and feel cheap. The battery cable was cut about a foot long to allow the fuse to be installed. 1 foot isn't enough to get from the battery to the fuse, probably not and for some other people had to buy a 4G battery cable from Walmart to bridge the gap. It would be nice if the cable was not touched. The ground wire was…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

does his job. included

Wire was good quality, looks like 4 gauge wire. The power cord is long enough to run from the battery to the trunk of my 2014 Mustang, but not too long for the job. Please note that the battery in my car is in the rear of the engine bay on the passenger side and I made an almost straight path from the battery to the trunk while staying on the same side of the car so the length may not be long enough for longer use. Means of transport. The power cord came about a foot pre-cut for the fuse, but…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Low repairability

Real 4 gauge included, very good price

Good amp kit for the price. 4-gauge power ground wires are actually 4-gauge, not 6-gauge or 8-gauge, covered in extra-thick insulator pretending to be 4-gauge! RCA cables are decent and have good flexible casings that are easy to route and route around your interior. An included ANL fuse holder (with 100A ANL fuse included), matching ring terminals, remote control wires and a split wiring harness are also included for a complete installation. Speaking of fuse holders - I don't understand the…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Ok
