New cable looks great

The system was fairly easy to install although it took 2 people to install (one person at each end screwing in) but it was quick and we love it Appearance of the final product.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not the best

Great for Wire Railing Corner Posts

I bought these for the corner posts that our wire railings run through at a 45 degree angle. They worked great and were easy to install. They decorate the railing and protect the wood from wear and tear when the cable moves.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Small

You may need to buy a longer drill.

If you want to route the cable through a 4x4 bar or larger, the included drill bit will not fully suffice when drilling at a 45 degree angle. I ended up ordering a 12" 9/32 bit to complete the job. However the quality of the protectors is very good.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Long delivery

This item is not designed for use with 3/16 cables. Never never

Hello, I bought these for my front porch. The cable is 3/16 so I paid for it, but it's smaller so it's unmissable. I am very disappointed as I am sending them to the Dominican Republic. This applies to smaller cables, but not to 3/16.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Learn a little if you use it on a tree

I wish I had bought them. I would not recommend using them on a tree. I drilled 45 degree angles into my uprights, installed the grommets, routed the cable and everything looked fine. However, even the minimal tension required to tension the cable will cause it to cut into the wood and prevent the sleeves from sitting flush. If I had to do it all over again I would drill straight holes, use straight grommets, insert a small piece of tubing to route the wire and maybe add a shim to relieve some…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Communicate with the seller
