I have very stubborn gray hair and Clairol's Age Defy Export hair color is the first product I've used that covers my gray hair and doesn't fade between colors treatments . Most other hair dyes (especially if you use darker colors) will start to fade after a week or two. Clairol Age Defy retains its color even after four or more weeks of coloring. If you have dark hair with persistent gray I would recommend this product.

Over time the product has gotten much better. I've tried many store bought hair dyes but this is the only one that doesn't wash out quickly. It comes out darker than I would like, but it also takes time to fade and I sweat a lot and go out in the sun quite often. It's pretty messy, but no more so than most. After coloring, the hair became thicker and shinier. I don't even need the gel pack that comes with it.

The delivery is terrible. It hasn't opened yet so I'm lucky. But judging by the photo, rough packaging / delivery. I like the product itself very much. The color is retained even after many washes. Covers 99% of my grayscale and I think the missing 1% is probably user error. The color survived a full week of pool swimming and shampooing. Your special conditioner makes my hair so soft and full. I hope to always be able to find this hair color product.

I love this color. I'm not dark brown or medium height and it's the perfect balance to hide all my gray hair. Just a pro tip for perfect coverage, if you want the best results, use a neutral protein filler (also available here) right before coloring and you'll never have to worry about even or long-lasting color coverage ever again. Will definitely buy this color again.
