Good for checking lines over 1/2 inch.

Temperature readings are everywhere compared to others. The liquid line reading is close, but the high side reading is not. Clamp not suitable for 3/8 cord.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Useless features

Good value for money in hand tools

For the price it is excellent. I don't know if this is the most accurate thing in the world, but close enough. I have several temperature probes and gauges that differ slightly from each other. It doesn't go beyond what I expected.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Do not use in the oven!

I was powder coating and thought it would be great to monitor the temperature of the parts while they were curing in the oven. Don't take this if you're looking for it; It melted into a piece of plastic! It should not be placed in the oven for a long time.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small Parts

Does the job and saves $$$

Love um. Just like the increasingly expensive ones don't get climate oils. Or they break. You may need to calibrate your meter. My colleagues want me to buy them some too. I will order more for my colleagues in the future.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Accurate and affordable

Very accurate and affordable compared to other brands. I checked the probe in boiling water and ice water and within 1 degree. I will use it to check superheat and subcooling in air conditioners and heat pumps. The price is unbeatable when it even lasts 1 year

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Non-automatic
