Clan_X Rechargeable Lighted Adjustable Collars Review

I bought this product to take my dog hiking and it only lasted two weeks. The light doesn't reach the entire collar like it should. Also, this product has not been submerged in water and water has never entered or touched this product, but I just want to point out that it is not waterproof.

Excellent product. Bright and clearly visible in the dark. Works for many hours without recharging. My only criticism is that the brightness varies a lot over the length of the collar, not even at all. Also, they are big. Make sure you measure your dog's true neck circumference. I got a medium for my 70lb golden retriever and it was way too long.

I was hoping for it but not only is the size impossible for a small dog but the width is very odd when fitting around the neck. These collars are not suitable for below average dogs. You will crush them and be too bulky. The material is also so stiff that the dog cannot bend it. I would love to work but I need to get it back and find someone who actually does it for small dogs.

First the problem: I received an old kit with an open USB port and a side button (not as good as a new one with a button that says press on collar and a rubber cover). I contacted CS and they sent me another color completely converted to new for free! I still have the old one, I put it on a leash for extra security. Super bright! Charges quickly and doesn't seem to bother the dog when it's on and on (steady on/solid). Good quality, excellent reinforcement stitching. Runs for over three hours and my 90 lb horse pulls when walking but this collar has had no problem. I walk my dog on the beach and we cross the wading dog, he's fine when exposed to water (he wasn't submerged but definitely wet when the walk was over). Good visibility over 100 feet. This jumpsuit has a beautiful bright collar. My main complaints are that the entire collar lights up when fully charged. So if you leave it on the charger, it will be fully lit. I think an old led display would have been better. My next biggest complaint is that when it's on the dog and the area is illuminated where the buckle and control box have no light or reflective properties so the collar and your dog remain invisible at certain angles, luckily the harness I have, is, take this into…

Edit: Apparently there is a new version of the dog collar that is said to be waterproof. My dog has only been in the snow with him so it's hard to say how good the waterproofing is. I will say that the new version of the collar has a much improved battery compartment and looks a little better than the first version I received. I didn't take it apart to see if the charging port was attached or not due to the waterproof claim, I don't want to mess up any of the seals. All in all, the new version…
