The phone works great. Loud enough. Rings with light and sound. Love it. The extra phone that came with it was for emergencies and was on my bedside table. The main phone is confusing. You must read the manual. It is more difficult for pensioners alone. It's great once you get the hang of it. If WLAN is lost, the telephone connection is also lost.

We bought this for my 87 year old mother in law. She developed vision and hearing problems and could no longer see the buttons on her regular telephone. This was a blessing to her. The buttons are big enough for her to see to make calls and we turned up the volume and she hears us when we call with ease. Recommended for anyone with visual and hearing problems.

Unfortunately I have to tell you that this phone is not what it says it is. I had high hopes for a speaker and a portable device. Less than a year later, the handset keys had to be pressed very hard to enter a number. "Boost" doesn't actually boost the sound. I was so hoping it would serve us well at our campsite, but it didn't. I am very disappointed and will go to the office hoping to find the best phone for our office. - Christa B

I bought this for an elderly friend in a one bedroom care home who was having trouble remembering to charge her phone and couldn't hear a thing when she was using it. She loves this phone! Now she hears her interlocutors without any problems and her voice becomes clearer. She even figures out how to use speed dial and likes having a phone both by the bed and in the living room. She is very happy with it and when she is happy everyone is happy!
