Clarity HondaLink Navigation RUIYA Protective Review

The fist of the alcohol towel was almost dry and it looks like the glass was dry too as it wasn't sticking to the top edges. They usually stick after a few hours, but not in this case. I bought two other screen protectors from another company and they worked great with no bubbles. Unfortunately, this is the only one available for this machine.

I really like the product but I awkwardly dropped it when trying to put it on and got fingerprints and smudges on the back as a result. They are visible when light hits the screen at a certain angle. The company says it will replace it with a new free screen if there are issues with the installation. I reported my issue but didn't get a response from them. Hope they keep their offer!

Installed on my 2018 Honda Clarity. Fits in the head unit fascia with a slight gap around the edge as the radio bezel is not a perfect rectangle like glass. It does not bother me. It took a thorough cleaning and multiple passes of alcohol swabs to rid the screen of oils. I couldn't believe how many scratches there were on the screen. Can't see most of them on the screen now with the protective glass on. Thumbs up.

I managed to install the screen and it works fine. Fingerprints seem less visible than without a protector. It's obviously not the right size to cover the original shape, so when you're done you'll end up with mismatched seams. But it works. The included suction cup was folded in half because of the packaging so it was difficult to use, but I finally got it to stick. The alcohol pad was damp and worked as expected. This product is not suitable for Honda Clearness navigation screen. It's a hard piece of plastic with straight edges. The bottom of the navigation clarity screen is uneven. Grab a ruler and check for yourself. The screen is also 1mm smaller on all sides to accommodate the edge. The navigation screen is also not quite flat at the edges of the screen and in the controls on the left side, which causes bubbles to form under the hard plastic. I wiped the screen with alcohol 3 times and then used the adhesive sheets twice. I even put on gloves as instructed, although they are not included. Luckily I got some of these with another product that didn't require me to use them. The sheet refused to fit the screen 100%. Bought after reading reviews and hearing from others that it fits now. I assumed this was an early release and a newer stock coming out. It doesn't seem to be. Before applying I smoothed out the tread, it looked incredibly taut. Then I applied the protector as described. The suction cup helps a lot. However, this product does not fit my 2018 Honda Clarity.
