Plenty of room for my 15.6 inch laptop, it fits in with little headroom which is what I wanted didn't want to strain to get it and go outside Lots of pockets for everything I need to take with me, including a zippered side pocket for my water bottle. Attractive and very well made bag, inside and out. The handles are big, I can carry the bag next to me or throw it over my shoulder. I had a really hard time finding a feminine yet professional looking laptop bag that would fit my 17.3 inch laptop without breaking the bank. I was so happy I found this! The outer material is strong and well stitched. Zippers are not cheap. The inner lining has good stitching and decent padding to protect the laptop properly. I really like this bag. This bag is beautiful, professional and well made. As a teacher, I need something to fit all my essentials: laptop, iPad, chargers, cables, books, folders, binders, armband, etc. This bag works well. It's a bit smaller than the Bellevue (another great bag) so ideal for those days when I don't need a few books. I highly recommend the Clark & Mayfield Reed bag!

The description of this case says it can fit up to a 17.3" screen, but my laptop has a 19" screen and slides in and out easily. I checked the inside length and width of the laptop compartment on the Clark and Mayfield website and my computer was right there so I decided to take a chance - so glad I did! I like this bag - nice roomy, lots of pockets, foldable water bottle pocket on the side. I originally ordered Bellevue, but it turned out to be much larger than the advertised size. This one is smaller. The bag is durable, made of quality materials and strong shoulder straps. I use this for work to carry papers, a notepad, my laptop, wallet and other wallet items so I don't have to carry my wallet around.
