👟 Stylish and Comfortable Clarks Grove Sneaker in Brown Leather - Perfect for Casual Chic Review

I ordered these shoes twice. First in my usual shoe size 9. The left shoe fits. The right leg was too big and I sent them back. I then ordered a pair in size 8 1/2. The right shoe was again too big and slipped off my foot. I've never had a pair of 8 1/2 shoes that were too big. Size 8 1/2 felt the same as size 9.

Color is slightly darker than expected. But I assume some color difference is normal for skin. However, the seizure left Clarks a little disappointed. I have two other pairs of Clarks in a standard size 9 that fit perfectly. However, they were half a size larger. Very roomy in the toes and the collar was a bit loose and I got a little chafing on the back of my heel when walking. The right boot was also noticeably larger. I am 12 inches tall. Some shoes run small. These are a bit big. I changed from size 13 to original size 12. My 11.5ft would probably fit as expected.

Attempting to replace a similar pair of Clarks that had lasted for years. These are sad copies of great shoes. Landing was sloppy with no side-to-side support. I need wide shoes but these felt cheap and uncomfortable. I've had much better luck with off-brand shoes at half the price.
