Excellent merit! Clark's! Not bad and I'm picky!

I'm pretty picky about my shoes. Excellent shoes for this price (and indeed for any price!). I have worn the Mephisto and other much more expensive shoes and the truth is these Clarks are almost as good in terms of look, feel and comfort. I say almost because some of the $300+ shoes have softer and more supple leather, but these "not" bad! In fact, they have beautiful skin inside and out. I returned 2 pairs before settling on these. One was a lot bigger and just didn't feel or look right, they…

Pros
  • Approximately 1 inch heel
Cons
  • Okay most of the time, but...

Tilden is longer than other Clarks styles

Knew what to expect with the extra length to compensate for the narrow toe. There is a little extra "empty space" in the forefoot of the shoe to make it feel right. I added inserts to the loafers that provide arch support and prevent them from riding around the leg. The size differences are fairly well documented in the reviews. The biggest issue I had with this pair was that the color was very different from the picture and description. The "dark tan" was more of a cream (super light color)…

Pros
  • The Clarks Collection Tilden Free Moccasins are perfect for the office and casual meetings, a must have in any wardrobe
Cons
  • Damaged

3rd set of these great shoes

I have had 2 sets of these shoes before and love them. I work in a hospital and wear a suit most of the day. However, I'm down a lot. Most of our employees wear athletic shoes, but at work I typically walk 7,000 to 8,000 steps a day in business attire. They are great, if you add the premade gel inserts they get even better and still suit my responsible look. The rubber soles on them start to age noticeably with age, so I wouldn't call them overly formal. (I have other shoes for those occasions)

Pros
  • Ortholite insole which cushions shock and wicks moisture
Cons
  • Clarity

Super Soft Office Shoes

These shoes were purchased at a bargain price of $35 and shipped by Revain. It's still worth it, and good shoes cost more than twice as much. The leather is nice and doesn't have that cheap "plastic" look that you sometimes get on cheap shoes. I usually wear 10" trainers/sneakers. I usually buy 9 in dress shoes. I had to go up to an 8.5 in these as they seem to go a long way. Length 8.5 is perfect. Sits a little tight on the Top of my foot but this will come off and is actually normal for slip…

Pros
  • Soft TPR outsole for all-day comfort
Cons
  • Exchange Available
