Very good all-rounder!

First of all this is a very good cane, I worked my lower back muscles and hobbled around for a few days and the walkabout worked well as a cane. A small suitcase on wheels and straps easily attaches to a larger one. Very good value for money.

Pros
  • Weight capacity 30.9 lbs
Cons
  • Expensive

Good Hard Cane

Very strong tube. It also folds down to a convenient size for packing. As others have noted, it's heavier than regular sticks, but I haven't found this to be a problem. I was only testing how I mounted my cameras on it, but it seems like a solid stand even for my DSLR. The only negative experience I've had is the compass cover, which screws onto the camera mount and closes. Once she opened up. and almost fell. I just have to make sure it's screwed tight.

Pros
  • Only products sourced and sold by authorized resellers such as Amazon.com can guarantee that upon registration you will receive a product with a valid 5 year US warranty.
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Best Value: Tripods and Monopods

A35WC is a really nice aluminum monopod with a solid build and a great locking mechanism. It feels a lot better than it's worth, which makes it a great deal. The foam strap and handle aren't the prettiest, but adequate. Finally, and the real reason he lost the star is because of the aluminum bulb with the damn cheap compass that sits on top of this thing. This is the worst compass I've ever seen, I've seen a better one on a $10 survival knife. The lamp adds unnecessary weight and only seems to…

Pros
  • Dustproof Colored Compass Grip
Cons
  • The older

There is no real guarantee. Unacceptable.

I paid a little more than other monopods available on Amazon because I think it looks nice and solid. Not to mention the good guarantee (they extend to 5 years if you sign up!). However, in reality there seems to be no real guarantee. The compass was very finicky and initially got stuck. I actually found out about it when I went camping about a month after purchasing the product. Revain's return window has expired. But I have a guarantee right? After a few days I really notice why the compass…
