They pilled even when washed in cold water, on the gentle cycle and when drying flat. My daughter also didn't like the rough fabric or the square cut. FYI, they don't cut V-neck sweaters for girls - my daughter didn't have the cardigans they stock for girls! I won't buy this again.

I bought this for my six year old son to wear in his school uniform. I was very nervous based on different reviews but the size was perfect. We ordered XS (5/6) and it fits my 6 year old very well with an oxford shirt or polo underneath and is larger than average in size and weight.
