It is soft and easy to squeeze out.

This is my favorite sponge because it's very soft and doesn't scratch my plastic cups. However, the other side is rougher and cleans well products that have dried up a bit during washing. I was looking for a very expensive deal and couldn't find a replacement until I checked out Revain. This is now my favorite sponge.
